Is this workshop only about interracial Christian romance?
This workshop is Christian romance in general. Each participant has their own brand of what they want to add for their characters, and diverse race is only a part of the spectrum. It’s therefore more practical to leave the specific attributes of character and plot open for the writer to devise.
I’m very new to writing, can I join?
Yes! Don’t be shy to join in the workshop. I will go through planned lessons, but these will be interactive classes. More importantly, if there is a question that may take some time to answer, I will be available afterward to give a more detailed explanation OR save further details for the writers’ discussion group I will open on Facebook once classes have started.
This writers’ discussion group is an optional forum where we—everyone who takes the class—can get together once a week for 30 minutes or so, to chat about writing, ask questions, and be around like-minded writers who love Christian romance.
I signed up for the 11:00 AM session. May I sometimes do the 6:00 PM?
Absolutely! We all know that once we make plans something may come along that throws us off schedule.
If you sign up to take the workshop at 11:00 AM, then find there are a few days when you can only attend at 6:00 PM, feel free to tag along in the evening class. (And vice versa.) The webinar link will be set up so you only have to connect at one of the designated times that day.
Remember, the overall workshop attendance is limited each month (the amount of people I can give reasonable individual attention to), but attendance for each class within that month’s workshop is quite flexible so don’t feel restricted. 😊
Should I trust PayPal? I don’t use it and don’t have an account.
I have personally had a very good experience with PayPal. I’ve used it off and on since 2000. And from January 2013, have used it for all of my business transactions that I don’t do via direct bank transfer, and for some personal transactions. All in all, it’s used for about 90% of business. Always handy to have around.
